Tiny Desk AI help and troubleshooting

Tiny Desk AI not working as expected? Check the photo requirements, find a video still in progress, recover a download or investigate missing credits. Choose your issue below or search the answers.

Tiny Desk AI is not working. What should I check?

Confirm you are signed in to the right Google account and have an available paid video credit. Use a supported portrait file and confirm permission. If a task already appears in My videos, check that task before submitting again. For an upload error, use the photo guide; for missing credits, check your orders.

What is Tiny Desk AI?

Tiny Desk AI puts your photo into an AI concert inspired by the viral Outstanding performance. You become the lead singer while the fictional band, intimate desk setting and familiar sequence of shots stay in place.

Which photo files can I use?

Use one clear adult portrait in JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB. Keep the eyes, face and shoulders visible. Only use yourself or an adult who agreed to this AI video.

Do I need a prompt or editing app?

No. The performance is already set up. Sign in with Google, buy a video credit and upload a clear photo. You do not need to write a prompt or edit a timeline.

How long does it take?

Photo review and generation usually take several minutes. You can leave and return to your account. Busy provider queues may take longer, so a delivery time is not guaranteed.

Will my face and the music stay exactly the same?

Your photo guides the new singer. AI can change likeness, clothing, lip sync, hands and audio. We aim to preserve the performance, but cannot promise a frame-for-frame or identical soundtrack match.

Can I try Tiny Desk AI for free?

You can watch the example for free. Making a video with your photo requires a paid credit. There are no signup gifts or daily free credits.

Are my photos and videos public?

Your uploads and results are private to your account. Uploads are kept for up to 7 days and results for up to 60 days. Delete completed results and their source photo earlier from your account. The AI provider also processes your files; see our privacy policy.

What happens if a video fails?

A confirmed failed generation returns the credit with its original expiry. If a submission is uncertain, we check the original task before retrying. A completed video with imperfect likeness still counts as a completed generation.

Can I request a refund?

Contact support within 14 days of purchase. Unused packs qualify for a full refund; partially used packs are refunded in proportion to remaining credits. Read the refund policy for details.

Where do I download my video?

Open My videos using the same Google account. A ready result has a download button. Results are kept for up to 60 days, so save your MP4 before expiry. The library shows your latest 30 tasks.

Do credits expire or renew automatically?

Paid credits last 365 days from purchase. Packs are a single payment with no subscription or automatic renewal. A confirmed failed generation returns its credit with the original expiry.

Can I change the song or upload my voice?

Not currently. The tool uses one arranged Outstanding concert sequence. There are no song, prompt or voice controls, and AI generated sound may differ from the reference.

I paid, but cannot see my credits. What should I do?

Check that you are signed in with the Google account used at checkout, then refresh your balance and check your orders. If the payment is still missing, send the order reference to support. Do not buy the same pack again just to fix the display.
